Kambo is a secretion from the Giant Monkey Frog or Phyllomedusa bicolor. The frog venom is collected on a small bamboo or wooden stick, then dried and wrapped in corn or shacapa leaves. You will receive one stick of MATSES KATUKINA Authentic Kambô. This product came directly from the Amazon.  Each stick is fresh with full load and comes with a wooden applicator. Amazonian tribes such as the Matis, Kanamari, Kaxinawa, Katukina, Kulina, Yaminawa, Marubo, and Ticuna tribes make use of the Sapo to obtain strength and dexterity when hunting. Natives commonly use it in kambo ceremonies for its medicinal properties.

The dried secretion contains up to 7% potently active peptides – phyllo caerulein, phyllomedusa, phyllokinin, dermorphin and deltorphin. Phyllomedusa is a new peptide of the tachykinin family. Phyllomedusa strongly affects the salivary glands, tear ducts, intestines, and bowels, and contributes to violent purging.
