Achuma Cactus (Trichocereus Bridgesii) an upright species 2-6 meters tall with large nocturnal white flowers and edible fruit. It is often called achuma or wachuma. The cactus has long history of use as a Shamanic tradition.
Achuma is perhaps the most powerful and magical of the Trichocereus cacti. It is said to have the highest alkaloid content of the Shamanic cactus family. The cactus is known to the shamanic community to have special healing powers, and is commonly associated with protection and divination.
The succulent is most commonly used in the preparation of making soaps, dyes, and incense.
